NHS reunion update

For those of you not subscribed to the mailing list:

Thank you to all who have responded to this site. We’re really looking forward to a large turnout! While plans are still in the works, this is what we do know.

  • We’d like to coordinate the reunion around an NHS home football game. We’re thinking about the first weekend in October.
  • We’d like to have everyone come to a game on Friday, a family picnic Saturday morning, and a nice event Saturday night. Again, these are just tentative ideas, if you have any suggestions please voice them. We want to plan something everyone will enjoy.
  • Megan Williamson Wall has graciouly volunteered to do a photo montage for us. If you have pics from the good old days at NHS, you can email them to her at meganwwall@gmail.com
  • If anyone is interested in compiling some music for the event please let us know. We’re trying to keep costs down, so unless you know of a good band who’s willing to play for next to nothing(which would be great!), pre-recorded music is probably our best bet.

Been a long time

It’s been a long time. 10 years in fact. Most people seem to agree that 10 years is a good time to reconnect with people you went to school with, so we’re going to have a go at it. I don’t have any details yet, except that Allison Miller Rutzen and Erica Funk Shipp have gotten the ball rolling. I believe we’re currently targeting a football weekend this coming fall, but nothing’s set in stone yet. I’ll post more here when I have it.

Also, I’ll be posting a list of all the people in our class to help in tracking everyone down. So, please check back and let me know who you have contact information for.
